Originally released in 1999, The Green Fields of Foreverland introduced Isobel Campbellās solo project The Gentle Waves, a delicate, wistful offshoot from her work with Belle and Sebastian. The album drifts through soft orchestration, 1960s pop influences, and quietly romantic songwriting. Housed in a gatefold sleeve and indvididually numbered. Cut for vinyl by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road.
